The BiteNot™ collar is an alternative to traditional recovery cones that helps prevent licking and biting at wounds on the torso and back, without a bulky cone around your dog’s head.

The BiteNot™ protective cervical collar offers dogs an alternative to traditional cones during recovery. This flexible collar limits how far your pet can turn or bend their neck, helping prevent licking and biting at most surgical sites, wounds, and irritated areas on the torso and back.

With no cone surrounding their head, your dog can see freely in all directions. This can make wearing a recovery collar more comfortable and less stressful, particularly over longer periods. Its compact design is practical for crate use and recovery at home, and suits active dogs who dislike standard cones. The stabilization strap passes behind the front legs to keep the collar securely in place.

HOW TO USE IT

CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE: Measure your dog's neck length and circumference to select the appropriate collar size.

WRAP THE COLLAR AROUND your dog’s neck and adjust it until it is snug enough to limit neck movement, but loose enough for your pet to breathe comfortably.

FASTEN THE VELCRO® closure to keep the collar securely in place.

SECURE THE STABILIZATION STRAP behind your dog’s front legs and attach it to both sides of the collar to help prevent slipping or shifting.

REGULARLY CHECK THAT THE COLLAR FITS comfortably and stays properly positioned, particularly when your pet wears it for long periods.
